The past few months have been incredible – and insane. We have a new president, the world economy is in turmoil and OJ Simpson was just sentenced for the Brown/Goldman murders – 13 years later.  

As for Plenary Publishing, we’re knee deep in submissions. Knee deep. But we’re actively reviewing the over 5,000 submissions that we’ve received to date and moving closer to selecting new authors. 

This blog fell by the wayside in the midst of everything, but many of you provided us with great feedback on where it needs to go. We envisioned the blog as a source for the latest news on Plenary Publishing and the book industry as we move closer to launching, but my deep obsession with news and politics often got in the way of my posts. Especially as the election news cycle revealed that we still need more voices of color in the fray.

So, we’re going full throttle. The Plenary Review is relaunching as a full-on news aggregator and commentator on topics of interest (and the things we should be talking about). We’re covering everything: news, politics, entertainment, life, law, whatever.

We hope you’ll join us in this transition. And we promise to keep up this time.
